Updated December 2001

Seasons greetings to you all. 2001, the first year of the new millennium, will be remembered for many events and milestones. The morning of September 11, 2001 however will be etched in all of our minds for generations to come. Our most heartfelt thoughts go out to all those who suffered injury or loss of family or friends in such a heinous and cowardly act.

This year Viewpoints West received a tremendous variety of new photographs from our talented group of shooters. In addition to this, we are also pleased to announce that Henry Wysocki is the most recent photographer to sign on with us. Henry's travel photography subjects include the Carribean, Mexico, Central America and South America. He has traveled extensively in these areas and his portraits of the local peoples of these areas reveal a true sensitivity. Stay tuned for an upcoming portfolio of Henry Wysocki's intuitive photography.

Coinciding with this newsletter we are presenting Portfolio 3. These images are a wonderful glimpse through the eyes of Roberta Olenick. Her incredible shots of waterfowl in the wetlands of southern Saskatchewan display not only a great skill in technique of photography but also her unabashed sensitivity to nature.

Our portfolio series will continue into the year 2002 with the vision of our other great shooters such as Ian Cook, John Marriott and Paul Morrison. Currently Ian Cook is traveling throughout the state of Baja California in Mexico and we look forward to seeing his images of this mysterious and arid landscape.

We thank all of our photographers for their continued imagination and endeavors. It has also been a great pleasure to serve our customers throughout the world in 2001. We thank you very much for your patronage and look forward to serving your image needs in 2002. Best wishes to you all for a happy, prosperous and peaceful new year!

Director
