Updated September 2002

Dear Customers and photographers,

The summer of 2002 is now coming to close. For those of us living in Vancouver, British Columbia it has been quite a fine summer indeed. Hopefully you have all had a great summer as well. Photographically speaking quite a few of our shooters were working on new portfolios of images.

Wildlife photographer Roberta Olenick began the year shooting Dippers, riparian aquatic birds which spend their lives by rivers and creeks. These birds are most interesting in that they dive underwater in search of their food. After this shoot Roberta travelled to Manitoba's famous snake pits to photograph the Red-sided Garter Snakes in late spring and early summer mating rituals. It is quite amazing to see so many snakes gathered in on area. Later this fall we will be showcasing a portfolio of Roberta's images of Dippers and Garter Snakes.

John Marriott, our Canmore, Alberta based shooter has supplied us with an extensive file of Polar Bear images from the Churchill, Manitoba region of the Hudson's Bay. John's exquisite images show the Polar Bears in all manner of play, aggression and hunting on the snowy barrens of this sub-arctic region of Canada. John has also been adding to his already impressive file of images on the Canadian Rocky Mountains but this year he concentrated on lifestyles type images. We will see a portfolio of John Marriott's latest images later this year.

Myself, I have been very active shooting on British Columbia's west coast of Vancouver Island earlier in the year and throughout 2002 I have been shooting quite a few new photos of "star trails". Some of these new star trail images can be seen in our Science & Technology section.

Henry Wysocki, has been spending a lot of time in the Caribbean Sea as well as Mexico and Central and Southern America, creating a very large file of images of the most famous resort areas and best kept secrets of those regions. Henry Wysocki's portfolio of images on this region of the world, is our latest to be displayed on our web-site.

Please contact us about any of our existing or new images which are being displayed on our web-site. We would be very happy to send you a portfolio of images on any subject matter that you are interested. Best wishes to you all for a wonderful autumn season!
